John Stezaker is a british artist who works with a collage
style and is facinated with images. In whitechapel his exhibition carries a lot of his work and its his first major solo retrospective.His main point and idea of his style is transforming an old image with a new meaning as you can see on the left with a distinction design. By perfecting his pieces he invents ways of slicing and separation of images this way it can relay stand out to the viewer.

Well personally this image is one of my most favourite eye catching image from the rest because first of all the concept of it worked really well as a strange fade into the woman's eye's affect anyone who looks at her (my eyes where hurting after 5 seconds glazing at her!). At the same time its quite creepy as her eyes are widely open staring at you with a smile and this mostly relates to double vision and visual perception.
